Licensing Agreements
IBM
IBM will provide service to replace Dataram memory which displays an approved IBM FRU label and are installed in Intel- and AMD-based systems covered by an IBM maintenance agreement or a purchased upgrade to an IBM machine warranty. Details can be found here.

Dataram is licensed by Sun Microsystems permitting use of Sun's patented technology in Dataram memory designs. The agreement includes technology for UltraSPARC® IV and UltraSPARC III architecture used in current Sun servers and workstations and the UltraSPARC II architecture found in legacy systems. Dataram's Sun-compatible memory upgrades are designed and engineered to be 100% hardware and software compatible with Sun systems.

Agreements with SGI® authorize Dataram to offer memory for a number of systems including SGI® Origin® 350, 3000 and 300 family of servers, Silicon Graphics® Onyx® 3000 and 300 visualization systems and Silicon Graphics Fuel® workstations. In addition, the Silicon Graphics® Onyx4TM UltimateVisionTM visualization systems and Silicon Graphics® TezroTM visual workstations were added to the agreement. Dataram memory products are fully eligible for support services through SGI Customer Support. Under the terms of the agreements, SGI will provide support services to customers using Dataram's memory. In 2003, SGI and Dataram entered into a service agreement for SGI® Altix® family of servers and Dataram memory upgrades. Customers may now opt for the cost savings of Dataram memory and maintain the highest level of service and support from SGI. These agreements and technology interchanges ensure complete system uniformity and compatibility with all SGI systems. Dataram is an SGI Developer Partner.
